In recognition of the COVID-19 pandemic, MasterCard has enhanced the contactless transaction limit at POS for Debit Cards in the UK from GBP 30 to GBP 45, which means, your PNBIL Debit Card Contactless limit will be enhanced to GBP 45. This enhanced limit will be with effect from 01st April 2020.

We hope you would make use of this enhanced limit and use your debit cards for payments through contactless at POS, reducing the physical contact with payment machines and hopefully slowing the virus spread.

World wide Acceptance:
Your card is accepted worldwide at all the outlets that displays the MasterCard logo. You are requested to call Bank on +44(0)800 849 9229 before you travel so that we can know that we can expect foreign currency transactions in your account.

Secure online transactions:
Wef 24-10-2018, Our online debit card transactions will be authenticated by a One Time Password (OTP) sent to your registered mobile number for each online debit card transaction, replacing the existing process of authentication through memorable word.
Update/register yourself for SMS alerts by visiting the nearest PNBIL branch. No change in POS & ATM transactions process through PNBIL debit card. For more details visit our homepage: Latest update: Debitcard- 3D Secure.

Contactless Debit Master Card:
If you have recently received your PNBIL Contactless Debit Card but not your PIN or if you want to order for the new PIN, please call us on +44(0)800 849 9229 Monday to Friday (between 9:00 am to 5:00 pm).
To report lost or Stolen card, please call on +44(0)800 849 9229.

Secure Against Fraud transaction:
All your transactions will be monitored by the bank especially if they have been done in those part of the world where you have never been. But you will be liable for unauthorised transactions that have been carried out on your card because of any carelessness on your part and you failed to keep your card and PIN secure.

Transaction charges:
In UK: There will be no charges if you are using your PNBIL Debit MasterCard to withdraw the money or for making the purchases in the UK.
In India: We are not charging anything (PNBIL).          Other Banks ATM: May charge.
Other than UK and India: There may be charges.
POS and online transactions: No charges any where.
